Beauty Products Reviewed

Last weekend we proudly and enthusiastically waved our British flags and thoroughly enjoyed the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations and all that came with them. It was a wonderfully royal affair...and talking of royalty, we thought we'd introduce you to some amazing new hair products (and a smattering of makeup and skincare too!), because when it comes to our tresses, we want them to be our CROWNing glory!! (see what we did there?!).

As we're ageing we're definitely noticing that our hair is becoming thinner, more prone to breakage, and it just doesn't behave in the way it used to. So we're all for products that protect, strengthen, nourish and repair. Enter Kerastase Acidic Bonding Concentrate range. We're longtime fans of Kerastase and have been really impressed with these new products. They provide intense conditioning and work hard to deal with damaged, broken hair, primarily from heat and colouring. The range consists of a shampoo, conditioner and a leave-in treatment (all of which smell divine!) which work in harmony to strengthen hair bonds, protect against colour fade and ensure your locks are left shiny, glossy, smoother and with less frizz. We've both been using them for a few weeks and can honestly say that the results are amazing. M has coloured her hair in the past, V hasn't - but we both have been left with gorgeously soft, smooth hair that feels thicker and healthier.

Still on hair, and M has a new styling hero product... MoroccanOil Intense Curl Cream. Having always been a mousse girl, this has turned her head (literally). It's a leave-in conditioner packed full of Argan Oil and vitamins, and with the delicious MoroccanOil signature scent. It controls frizz, detangles and hydrates hair and defines curls - leaving them soft, shiny and bouncy. You can also use on dry hair in between washes to refresh your style and control any frizz that might start to appear.

We hope you enjoyed our most recent blog all about Omorovicza - skincare fit for royalty! We've been harping on about the brand new product 'Queen Essence', which we're lucky enough to have been using for several weeks. It's finally available to purchase on the omorovicza.co.uk website, and please use our 15% discount code at checkout VERY15 when purchasing it. It's a seriously gorgeous addition to our skincare routine - a silky, but non-sticky liquid that hydrates and plumps skin and is designed to be used after cleansing and before a serum and/moisturiser to really make those products work that much harder and for optimal absorption. We've been using twice daily and our skin is glowing and feeling so hydrated and 'bouncy'.

And we can't finish this 'jubilee-ish' blog without mentioning a great British brand. We've recently discovered some fab items from Revolution Makeup. And it's fair to say that this is brilliant bargain beauty! We're loving the Face Base Blush stick in shade Peach which gives a really natural, slightly glowy flush to the cheeks and seems to complement most skin tones. It's very subtle and soft and the perfect product for those 'no makeup makeup' days. And the Shadow Bomb Cream eyeshadows are super easy to use and just give a wash of metallic colour to the lids, which can be used alone, or over matte shadows to take you from day to shimmering night!

Just press this PINK LINK to have a browse at the amazing range of Revolution Makeup. It’s hard to believe that this brand is so reasonably priced and to make the products that much more enticing we can offer you a further 20% off with our discount code VERYMAKEUPMAD20 (use online at check out)
