Mala
Mala spent the first ten years of her life in India and thereafter flitting between Goa’s golden sandy beaches and the slightly less exotic sands of Westcliff-on-Sea. Her modelling career began at ten for Vidal Sasoon and carried on into her late twenties.
She was snapped for J17, Mizz, and Marie Claire to name but a few, and featured in ad campaigns for the likes of Tammy Girl, Bvlgari and Starbucks.
She trained as a YSL makeup artist, working on many of their campaigns whilst gaining a place at RADA (and then losing her much needed sponsor…Oops!) Not one to be put off, she continued to work in the acting industry and appeared in some TV staples, whilst freelancing as makeup artist for beauty brands such as MAC and Aveda.
She’s kept her fingers in ‘dramatic pies’ whether it be casting, or teaching speech and drama from her home. She lives in London with her husband, 3 very straight haired children and her Tiara Teddy Bear (pooch)Bertie , Biggie Smalls the miniature Pomeranian plus the new addition Dogtor Dre (another mini Pom)
